Victor Diaz, ChaplainVictor welcomes you on behalf of Chebeague Community Church, where we are a community that embraces all, believing you are not alone and that you belong here, regardless of your faith. Everyone is invited to find support, peace and connection.

Church BoardThe Church Board is responsible for establishing goals and objectives for the church and then initiating plans to accomplish those goals. It works to nurture the overall ministry of the church, tend to the church’s overall financial health, hire employees, and evaluate and develop the church’s ministries. Officers are elected by the Board.

Building and Grounds CommitteeThis committee is responsible for the
physical assets of the Chebeague Community Church, including maintaining maintenance logs and records, keep a current facility assessment of the property, provide for the repair of the buildings and grounds, and prepare recommendations that need Church Council approval. Finance CommitteeThis committee works to develop the

This committee responds to the needs of the community in celebration and in crisis.

Human Resources CommitteeThis committee is responsible for being
the bridge between the staff of the church and the wider congregation. This group is responsible for setting compensation for staff, overseeing background checks for staff and volunteers working with children, maintaining our safe sanctuaries policy, and developing and maintaining the employee handbook. Nominating CommitteeThis committee is responsible for
leadership development and for presenting a slate of leaders to be elected at the Annual Membership Meeting. They also make nominations to fill vacancies that occur on comities throughout the year, with the approval of the Church Council. Gathering CommitteeThis team focuses on developing gatherings and brainstorming ideas for chancel décor and images, and helps with the creative aspect of our gatherings.

CCC's Annual Meeting is held yearly in January to report on the state of the church.
We also hold a yearly meeting in July as a celebration of the church community held outside (weather permitting).
